The story of me finding my Glam Team Fashionista Barbie is similar to my story of how I came across Gooliope. When Glam Team Fashionista came out a while ago, I didn't like her so much. I thought she was sort of plain, so I didn't buy her. But when I was in Biglots a few days ago, I found her. I thought to myself, "Wait- do you actually like her now?". My brain quickly responded to me, "I LOVE her! You should buy her while you still see her!". Can you guess what I did?

I love how her head is turned in the box and how she just looks pretty calm and cool in general.
Here she is unboxed:

Oh no! Look at all the styling product in her hair! And her shoe fell off!
Here's how clumpy and crusty her hair is with that gel:

I took a brush and combed it for a little while. It looks a lot better now:

Her hair is a great color of red. It's pretty realistic because of the streaks of different colors.
Now it's time to see her body!

She has five points of articulation. That's normal for all of the newer fashionistas, but I wish they at least had knee joints. She has an Original Barbie body.
Here's a close-up of her face:

She has blue eyes, a pink opened mouth and three freckles. Her freckles are the main reason why I bought her, actually. They're a fun detail.

Here's her dress.
I wonder why they chose the number 84. They usually choose 59 for everything. I can think of a couple Barbie things I have that have the number 59 on them.
Here are my favorite Barbie shoes ever:

Converse!
She has a ring on too:

It says "love" in cursive. There's a hole in her hand that a peg on the ring pokes through, if you're wondering how it stays on.
While I like the outfit she comes in, I think I could pick out something better:

If she wants to be a princess, it works...
This one is better for a more casual occasion:

This look is very hipstery. I like it a lot!
This doll is great for dressing up, but not much else as she is barely posable. Her face is nice and unusual and her hair is also good (minus all the styling gel). Her outfit is okay too.
If you're looking for a doll to make clothing for or to dress up for a displaying, you should buy a Barbie Fashionista. Otherwise, maybe pick a more posable doll.
Have Fun,
Nomzi
